Do you believe?
Being positive is sometimes a little bit of a struggle, would you agree?
Ok so nobody expects you to be 100% happy, 100% of the time. But wouldn’t it be amazing to have the freedom of happiness more often than not? It will take time, it’s not always going to be easy but it WILL, I promise you, be worth it!
Take a positivity pledge with me 🙂
Great things take time. It is a process. If you fall down, pick yourself back up & remind yourself of why you took the pledge in the first place.
Here’s to positive people & positive thoughts!
Life is too short for bad vibes!
You are a unique human being.
Nobody in the whole world is made exactly like you.
Be proud of who you are 🙂 ! Don’t waste any energy on wishing you were somebody else, overlooking how special YOU truly are.
Your “flaws” are what make you stand out in the crowd, they are what make you so incredibly beautiful.
In time, I hope you can see just how special you are, as special as you are to me.
(Did you spot the hidden message in this post? Look again. I’m talking to every single person that reads this, don’t count yourself out. You are precious.)
I just wanted to take a moment to remind you of those who unfortunately don’t have a lot to look forward to this Christmas. For some, Christmas is a lonely holiday with nothing much to offer and can be especially painful for them if they don’t have a lot of family around them.
If you are able to sprinkle a little Christmas magic & help those in need then please do, don’t hold back. There are homeless shelters all around the world who need help every single day. But if you can offer food or warm clothing this Christmas then I can guarantee you that would be the most well received gift you will give this year.
Christmas is about giving but that doesn’t mean you have to spend money, instead share joy & kindness. Spare a moment of your time for family, friends or neighbours who are spending Christmas alone. Sitting down for a chat with them, posting a Christmas card with your best wishes or doing something kind for them will mean the world to a lonely soul and help turn their Christmas around and it doesn’t have to cost a penny.
So this Christmas I ask you to please open your heart & think about those in need.
Help make their Christmas holiday sparkle with happiness 🙂
Thank you for reading 🙂
Having a bad day?
Don’t ever let a bad day trick you into feeling like you have a bad life. It’s just a bad day. A strength builder, which will help you through tomorrow & the next day.. and the next.
After all, how could we possibly detect the bad days from the good if all we ever had was the good days? How would we truly appreciate those great days?
Embrace the bad days, show the world what you’re made of! Show them how STRONG you are & that you will keep on fighting until the end!
BRING IT ON, because we can conquer anything! We are always stronger than we believe ourselves to be.
If you don’t feel like taking on the world on one of those gloomy days, just remember that your rainbow is around the corner, great things are about to happen. You just have to put up with a little rain until it’s your turn to shine & all it takes is a little time 🙂
May unicorns fart rainbows all over your day…
Keep smiling 😉
Have you ever felt alone in a sea of people?
Even in a world of millions of people, sometimes it can feel like the loneliest place…
To each person who feels alone right now –
I wish I could show you the light of your own being.
How special you are.
How much the world needs YOU in it.
Here is a link to a previous blog post of mine that may help you create a little bit on sunshine in your life 🙂 :
Remember to smile..xo
Christmas time is well & truly here now & the bah humbugs of our communities can’t deny it any longer – hehe!
This time next week it will be Christmas Eve & children all over the world will be eagerly waiting for the day to end so that they can climb into their beds & lie there with their tired but hope filled eyes, hoping to hear a jingle from Santas reindeer on the roof.
I love this time of year. The festive spirit, the families & friends coming together, the smell of the delicious food being prepared on Christmas day! The children laughing & playing, the joy on their faces when they receive a gift that they had been wishing for for so long!
Snow (if we are lucky enough to get it) covering everything in sight, making it look like we live inside a giant snow globe. That moment when you come in from the freezing cold outside to a comforting mug of hot chocolate. Cozy jumpers. The decorations people put outside for everybody to enjoy as they go past their houses or the shopping centers decorated so beautifully. The peppermint candy canes! The way everything sparkles in the light. Paw prints in the snow. Candles…I could go on forever!
I can’t wait to spend some time with the people that I love on the most magical holiday of the year, I just wish it lasted longer because it will be 2014 before we know it!
What do you love about Christmas? 🙂
