It’s Monday again, which means a fresh new start to your week!

Here are some tips for making your Monday a little less blue. Lets do this!

1. This is your perfect chance to correct any mistakes you made in the previous week! Make a list of everything that you want to accomplish by next Monday to keep yourself motivated & see how many things you can tick off your list during the week 🙂

2. Organise something exciting to do on your day(s) off – The week is always easier to get through if you know what’s waiting for you when the weekend shows its pretty little face!

3. Realise that before you know it, the weekend will be here! *Flash back to last weeks Friday dance*

Get Lost!

Does anybody else ever go for a random drive in the car or maybe a walk/bike ride? Not knowing where you are going or what you will find. You take turns (if you are with somebody) deciding which route to take, left or right?

Sometimes they are the best kind of days. Taking that time to relax, with no plans but with a little adventure thrown in too.

Me & my boyfriend do this occasionally & it always turns out to be the best, mini trip! On one of our drives, we came across an amazing beach in Wales & we have visited there many times after our discovery. I would have never known it was there before but now it’s one of my favourite places to go when I get the chance. You never know who or what you will find.

It’s great for those a little bit bored of the daily routines of life, who just want a little bit of excitement…not everybody can afford to just buy a ticket to Australia & live there for a few months (insert sad face here haha), I will keep dreaming on that one. But for now, random drives to random places will do me just fine & it is certainly not a waste of time to me 🙂

Focus Your Mind

One thing that I find helps me is to focus on the solution & not the actual problem itself. Focusing on the problem just makes you think about it more, it drags you down the more you think about it & then you don’t feel like you have the strength to fix it anymore…which causes more problems until you’re in a gigantic hole filled with your deepest worries & issues. That’s not much fun is it?

Help yourself, you’re worth it!

Think of how you can overcome the problem, how can you fix it so that it isn’t a problem for you anymore? How will you feel when you have conquered it or found a solution?

So instead of being down about whatever problems you are facing right now, find your solution & take a step in the direction of HAPPINESS!

I promise you that you will never regret it 🙂

Some Days, You Just Have To Create Your Own Sunshine

Having a down day…week…month…year?! I know how you feel. Unfortunately, we’ve all been there.

You are not alone 🙂 & its time we all cheered each other up instead of knocking each other down! Sound like a good plan?

Right now it may seem like life is crumbling before your very eyes, bad things just keep happening & there is no way to stop it, its overwhelming, you feel like “maybe it would be better if I wasn’t here at all” if life just got that little bit too much for you to handle.

But, lets change that as of NOW!

Just stop for one minute,

Walk outside, stand there, in silence,

Look up at the beautiful sky

& contemplate how amazing life truly is.

I know that life isn’t always full of reasons to smile, but your smile itself is a reason for others to smile too!

I want you to remember ^ this picture if you’re struggling & always look out for the beautiful little things in life that we may miss whilst we’re rushing around in our daily routines, barely noticing where we are or where we’re going.

Things like how amazing the sky looks when the sun is setting, taking in the beauty of the gorgeous flowers around us, go to the beach & just watch the ocean, rest on the sand…I don’t think there is anything quite amazing as nature (as hippish as that sounds its true haha!). Have friends over, talk to a family member who you’ve been meaning to call for so long! Do anything to lift your spirits, to make you smile & to make life worth living again.

If you’re hurting & have been for a while, do these little things daily & think to yourself…

“I may not be there yet, but I’m closer than I was yesterday”

Take it one day at a time & I promise you that everything will be OK…you WILL get through it & find the strength to be happy again 🙂
