Do you believe?
Please feel free to check out last years post about sharing the love on Valentines Day 🙂 : https://pinkdustydreams.wordpress.com/2014/02/03/love/
I know this time of year can be difficult for those in a relationship & equally as hard for those wanting to send a secret card to somebody they have a crush on. What gift do I buy/do I even buy one? What card should I get? What will I write?!
So this year, I thought I would give you a little help with that ..
Not sure what card to get? Here’s a few fool proof options that I found on the internet for you:
^ Nothing says I Love You like pizza.
^ Smooth. Real smooth.
^ One for the classy crush 😉
^ The card that says it all for you, so you don’t have to. & Of course, a F.R.I.E.N.D.S related card. Because, who doesn’t love that show?
……… I’m just kidding 😉 , I hope you liked this jokey Valentines Day blog post & it made you smile. Have a fantastic Valentines Day for tomorrow whether you’re single & sharing the love with your friends & family or if you’re lucky in love & spending quality time with your other half.
Happy Valentines Day! Spread the love. x
As we are coming into the colder months now I thought I would share 4 simple things that I love to do in the colder months that cheer me up & might cheer you up too 🙂
1. Hot Chocolate Dates – Take a friend, family member, whoever you like and go along to Costa (or wherever sells your favorite drink or food) for a nice lunch or drink “date”. Time is best spent with those you love & even if you just take an hour out of your day to go and grab a nice warm drink, it gives you the chance to sit down, relax for a while and catch up on anything you may have missed! OR. It can be just as nice to cuddle up at home with a drink in your favourite mug if you don’t feel like venturing out 🙂
2. Winter Walks – Put on your warmest clothes & go out for a refreshing walk to clear your head. Somewhere with beautiful scenery & take your dog along if you have one.
In the UK, we have to wear at LEAST 20 layers to go outside…
and that is in summer! Just kidding, it’s not that bad 😉 .
3. Cosy Nights In – Cuddle up on the sofa with a blanket & watch some of your favourite films. It’s only October & I already want to watch “Elf” !
4. Christmas Shopping! – I know it’s early yet so this will be later in the year & sometimes it can be quite stressful but, for me there is something magical about shopping at Christmas. It can be easier to do some of it online now but I still take some time to travel to somewhere so I get to experience the beautiful twinkling lights, the shops and shopping centres expertly decorated, the festive treats..I could go on and on.
Although, there has been times when it feels more like this:
Thanks for reading! What are you looking forward to? 🙂
It’s that time of year again – Where does the time go?!
The festive season is here & they will be showing the magical Christmas themed films on TV very soon. One of my favourites has inspired this post today…
Will Ferrell is a brilliant actor, he is hilarious! – In my opinion of course 🙂
If you have 5 minutes to spare, watch this clip of a few funny moments from the film, it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
If you have never seen the film before then watch it this year 🙂 , I personally think that its great for both adults & children & remember, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear 😉
Keep smiling, keep dreaming & enjoy the festive season…it will be over before you know it!
I’m not sure about you but for me personally, when I see inspiring quotes & pictures, it really makes my day. I LOVE them & they have the ability to turn my day around into something great! …Thank goodness somebody invented Pinterest so I have a place to keep them all 😉 !
So today I just thought I would post a small collection of uplifting pictures & hopefully… even if I just reach ONE person with this post, then I will be happy & glad to have helped 🙂 …
Remember this when you have lost all hope in the world & the people in it…
Remember this when you have lost all hope in YOURSELF.
Do what makes you happy 🙂 speak to those who make you smile!
If you have’t seen “Finding Nemo”, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life 😉 …
CHOOSE to feel happy, find the POSITIVES in life! Sometimes they are hidden…but they are there
There is so much beauty in the world, you just have to find it!
Start thinking positive & watch how your world changes before your very eyes! You’ll be happier & better equipped to deal with some of the bad things in life. It really does work 🙂
Have a great day/evening depending on where you are & remember to SMILE! You feel instantly happier if you smile…try it & see! xoxo
I had to post this last one as it made me laugh earlier today…
